One weekend a year, Downtown St. Petersburg morphs into a Grand Prix race course.  That weekend is THIS weekend, perhaps you have seen the barriers going up and the seats being placed out on the would be course.  Race weekend begins this Friday, March 10th.  The Grand Prix of St. Petersburg race weekend is a three-day festival that features several racing series like the Pirelli World Challenge Championships, Verizon IndyCar Series, along with interactive activities and live entertainment.
